I think it is adorable. My daughter received it Christmas morning along with some Zhu Zhu pets. She loves the lame Zhu Zhus and didn't give this a second look. It does make a little bit of mechanical sound and the internal workings are a bit hard. All in all though I think it is cute. It makes realistic sounds unlike the ridiculous noises the zhu zhu makes. My 16 yr old niece loved it.

we have a good time playing with this little guinea pig. As with most toys it does not meet my little boys expectation that it act completely like a real guinea pig...I'm pretty happy about that-no mess, no noise, no food!

I purchased this Fur Real Guinea Pig for my 2 year old niece and at first she was scared of it, but then couldn't put the thing down. It is quite realistic looking and even though I never was around a real guinea pig to listen to one, the sounds of this Fur Real pet are very cute. It makes a few different sounds, moves it's head and closes it's eyes. Very cute toy for a toddler, even my eleven year old enjoyed playing with it!
